Challenging yourself with active outdoor activities is beneficial. In today’s post, we introduce you to 3 Tahoe ropes courses, a perfect place for your group to have fun this weekend.
Tahoe City Treetop
Tahoe City Treetop is a remote woodland with huge pine trees and old-growth cedars located near Granlibakken Resort. It has 97 tree platforms with 27 zip lines and 60 bridges, as well as events for people aged 6 and above.
Tahoe Treetop Adventure Parks has plenty to offer everyone, from beginners to experts. You will be able to hang from a tree before swinging and experience interesting and unusual ways to challenge yourself, exercise, and explore your environment if you take this course.
Tahoe City Treetop expands beyond self-perceived limits, creates and strengthens ties between family, friends, and coworkers, and achieves balance in numerous ways, whether it’s a solo encounter or a shared one with a small or large group.
This training is ideal for both beginners and advanced students and includes all necessary safety equipment. A complete body harness and helmet will be provided for this event, but you are welcome to bring your bike helmet.
Tahoe City Treetop offers ten courses, including two for beginners, six for intermediates, and two for advanced. The advanced course requires a minimum height of 49″ to participate (124 cm). There are several routes at Tahoe City Treetop for non-participating friends and family to watch, so don’t be afraid to participate if you’re a beginner in this profession.
Tahoe Vista Treetop
Located in Tahoe Vista, the 125-acre North Tahoe Regional Park, Tahoe Vista Treetop employs a continuous belay safety method to provide a smoother and more seamless experience for all participants, with no continual clipping and unclipping of safety lines or ducking beneath them.
In addition, 7 of the 9 courses have no height requirements, while the two advanced courses have a 49′′ height limit. Many of the tree platforms feature views of Lake Tahoe as a bonus.
There are 87 tree platforms varying in height from 10 to 50 feet above the ground, as well as 54 unique events and bridges on this course. It also features a total of 39 zip lines ranging in length from 20′ to 300′.
There are nine different courses available, including two beginners, five intermediate, and two advanced. There are seven courses accessible for individuals under the age of six or who are less than 49 inches tall, and all of the courses are available for those who are 49 inches tall or greater.
The lake view course contains about 1,000 feet of zip lines, all of which are equipped with safety equipment. You will be provided with a full-body harness and helmet, but you are welcome to bring your own bike helmet. The open picnic area and numerous pathways for non-participating friends and family to see are unique features of this course.
Olympic Valley Treetop
Enjoy beginning and intermediate-high aerial hiking routes with vertical climbing sections on the 50′ Alpine Tower with the peaks of Palisades Tahoe in the background if you’re looking for something more daring. However, you should be aware that this course is only available during the summer.
Olympic Valley’s Ropes Course features three separate towers that reach up to 50 feet in height, as well as two circuit courses with a total of eight bridges and seven short zip lines. The Ropes Course is a combination of vertical climbing courses, bridges, and zip lines.
The participant in the vertical climbing events must be attached to a climbing rope held by a licensed belayer. In your group, there will be a member of staff or a trained participant who is at least 16 years old.
After a quick “ground school,” the circuit courses are self-guided and suitable for children aged 5 and above. All circuit routes and vertical sections are included in the 2-hour session; however, all vertical climbs require the assistance of a belayer. The first 30 minutes of the class are spent putting on gear and going over ground school and belay lessons.
Above are all the necessary information about the Tahoe ropes course that we want you to know before starting your adventure. This information will let you know which course is suitable for you to have fun with your beloved people on the weekend.
